Evaluations provide diagnostic clarification for a number of issues, which then informs intervention targeting areas of weakness. Evaluations also provide the documentation needed for the purpose of receiving accommodations at school or on standardized tests, and consideration for the Academically & Intellectually Gifted (AIG) program in public schools. Areas assessed are tailored to fit a client’s need and can include: cognitive abilities, executive functions, attention, memory, processing speed, reasoning abilities, phonological processing, visual motor integration, academic achievement (i.e., reading, writing, math), and socioemotional functioning.
